CHRISTOPHER TAYLOR-Director

Chris Taylor received a B.A. Cum Laude from Harvard University in Folklore and Mythology. After a decade of touring with Bob Dylan, the Beach Boys, and Earth Wind & Fire, (as a lighting designer) he attended the American Film Institute in 1988.

Chris began his career as a Director of Photography in1990. In 1998 Chris began to direct television for the Fox Network and CBS (The District).

FOOD FIGHT is Chris’ first feature length documentary. It was awarded the Audience Award for 2008 from the International Documentary Association.

FOOD FIGHT is a fascinating look at how American agricultural policy and food culture developed in the 20th century, and how the California food movement rebelled against big agribusiness to launch the local organic food movement.
